Terms & conditions

Effective 2026-10-12. These terms apply to quotes, orders and deliveries from Local Concrete Ltd. and to use of this website.

Orders

Online orders are requests. An order is confirmed only when our dispatch confirms the mix, volume, date and time window with you by phone or in writing.

Calculator estimates

Calculator results are estimates for planning only. You are responsible for verifying quantities and specifying the mix required by your design, permit or the Ontario Building Code. Typical-use notes are general guidance, not engineering advice.

Pricing & payment

  • Prices are net and due at time of delivery unless you are on account.
  • Credit cards, e-transfers and cash are accepted. Credit cards carry a 3% processing fee.
  • Taxes are not included; 13% HST applies.
  • Overdue accounts are charged 1.5% per month (18% per annum).

Standby

Unloading time of 15 minutes per cubic metre ordered, up to 90 minutes, is included. A $180/hour standby charge applies after the allotted time.

Cancellation

  • No charge with more than 24 hours' notice.
  • $250 cancellation fee on orders cancelled within 24 hours.
  • $600 cancellation fee once the truck has been dispatched.

Delivery & site access

Delivery is curb-side only. Delivery past the curb requires a signed damage waiver; we are not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, septic systems, underground services or other property beyond the curb. You are responsible for safe access, accurate access information and locating underground and overhead hazards.
